OUR TEAM

Tony Boyce has been leading the Tony Boyce Building team for 40 years, and he’s proud to have his name above the door. Tony is a Registered Master Builder with experience in all aspects of building, and he’s supported by a great team of designers, carpenters and joiners.

Our team includes in-house architectural designers who have worked on a variety of industrial and agricultural projects throughout New Zealand. Our architectural designers are with you all the way, from design through to completion. Taking care of planning and documentation they work closely with councils and are skilled at taking your ideas and turning them into a workable plan.

When you build with us, you’ll have your own foreman – a Licensed Building Practitioner, they’ll be onsite, using their years of experience to make sure your build runs smoothly. They’re your ‘go to’ person if you have any questions or concerns, and an essential part of the Tony Boyce Building team.

A key member of our team is Roger, who runs our joinery shop. Roger has been working with wood for more than 40 years and is a craftsman joiner with a huge amount of experience and very exacting standards.

The members of our team bring many years of experience, but we’re also keen to ensure our future is as bright as our past so we regularly employ apprentices – at present we have three who are all different stages of their qualification. They are expertly guided by our experienced staff, and many of our apprentices stay with us once their apprenticeship is completed.
